OPENING ACT:

Oke Junior is a hip hop performing artist from Oakland, California. Oke grew up with five brothers in two sisters in a two-bedroom apartment in East Oakland. His father is from Warri, Nigeria and his mother is from Oakland. As a child Oke and his family struggled financially, which caused them to move around a lot. At the age of ten he started writing music as a way to express himself. However, as he got older the streets started to have a negative impact on Oke. His parents wanted to give him a fresh start so they agreed to let him move to Napa with his older brother.

It was in Napa where Oke will flourish musically and academically. He continued making music and performing locally. He earned himself a full ride academic scholarship to Sacramento State his senior year at Napa High. Throughout his time at Sacramento State Oke would drop numerous projects. Handing out CDs all across campus before and after class. He started making a name for himself all throughout California. His story telling, lyrical skills, and hard work ethic has made him a stand out talent coming out of the West Coast. He gained cosigns from hip hop legends like Too $hort, Mistah FAB, Sway Calloway, and NFL Superbowl Champion Marshawn Lynch.

His music has been featured on local and national radio stations. Most recently Oke music has been synced on ESPN, NFL Network, Bulleit Liquor, and Overtime Elite. Oke just signed a partnership deal with United Masters.
